Clarity challenge 33 Clean and Simple.

I would like to enter this card into the Clarity Challenge 33.
I used Stream Adirondack to make the outer circle.  I then stamped the nativity scene in Black Archival and lightly brushed over the sky with stream and created the background hills with espresso.  I mounted the whole picture on black card and some white card which I had coloured with stream.  I outlined the main picture with a black fine-liner pen.

Pink flowers

I have used two dies by Sue Wilson - the smallest Provence ones and part of the French collection border as the corner.
The flowers are Spellbinders Layered Poinsettias and Rose Creations.  I cut the flowers from some silver card, pink card and a leftover piece of the background paper.

October Clarity challenge

I would like to enter this card for the October clarity challenge 'stencils'.
I used the 'Stone Wall' stencil for the panel and the background to the sentiment.  First I inked through the stencil with stream ink and then turned the stencil and inked through again.  I used a black pro-marker to edge it to give some definition.
For the butterfly panel I used the 'Butterfly montage' stamp.  I cut out the panel part and inked lightly with stream.  I then stamped it again and cut out just the butterfly, inked it in the same way and layered it with foam pads onto the butterfly panel.
I stamped the sentiment and die cut the shape using a pro-marker to outline it.

Clarity Clocks challenge

This is my entry for the May clarity challenge 'Clocks'.
I have used stamps from several Clarity sets:
Victorian miniatures
NDC sentiment stamp
Trees and their mantles
I also used the Clarity Clocks stencil, espresso and sepia inks.

Flowery cat

My latest knitting project.  The pattern comes from a Sue Stratford book called 'Knitted cats and kittens'.

Fairy Sparkles

This is my entry from the April Clarity challenge.  On black card I used grunge paste through the stencil and then a combination of Stonewash, Stream and Lettuce inks to colour the background.  I stamped 3 of the fairies from the Clarity Wee Folk set and added some of the fairy stars in between 2 of them.  I wrote the message with a white pen and added Glamour Dust to them, the stars and the words.

Favour box

This is a favour box I decorated for the Clarity blog challenge in March.

Wednesday 8 April 2015

I have used several Sue Wilson dies for this card.  There's the French collection tag and Provence dies, Faux quilled blossoms and Itty Bitty bow.  The design is also from Sue Wilson.  i find her dies and designs very inspiring.

Saturday 28 February 2015

I have entered this for the Clarity February floral Challenge.  Not easy to say!  I have stamped over 3 layers of card and then matted each layer onto a plain purple card.  I used the Floribundance stamp and made my own vase shape/stencil.  The larger flowers are decorated with Glamour Dust and the smaller ones have a bright pink gem in the centre.

Sunday 22 February 2015

I used a brayer and raspberry and red pepper adirondacks ink pads for the background.  I stamped the swallows from the Clarity Journalling set.  I used a mask to cover the top swallow and created the sun.  the hills were made using torn paper and an espresso adirondack inkpad.  The trees are from the Clarity 'Trees and their mantles' set.
